inPLACE Design’s project – Royal Venya Resort in Bali, Indonesia, was crowned “Best International New Hotel Construction and Design 2019-2020” at the International Property Awards 2019 in London. Earlier this year, the project won the “Best Hotel Architecture Indonesia” and “Best New Hotel Construction and Design Indonesia” awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2019 and was nominated to represent Asia Pacific to compete with other regional winners on the international stage.
International Property Awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. An International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence.
Dustin Watson, founder of inPLACE Design, highlighted features of the project, “The site is accessed from a narrow lane that opens up onto views that provides a sense of other-worldliness. Taking guest on an experience that removes them from the fast-paced world of everyday life. The rice terraced hills and the villages of central Bali were the inspiration behind the overall layout and scale of buildings to create the complete Bali experience within the resort.”

Haris Koetnjoro, design principal at inPLACE Design, was on hand as well as our client Anhar Sudradjat and Thomas J. Angfendy of PT Metropolitan Land tbk at the Hotel Savoy in London to accept the award on December 2nd 2019.
