Blackwater Distilling’s expansion plans include a new production area, a tasting bar, and outdoor dining space. The expansion is planned within an existing building that is highly visible on US-50 just East of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge connecting the Western shore to the Eastern shore. The outdoor space is activated by food trucks, a wood deck with a fireplace, a covered open dining area, a stage, and an event lawn. The expansion allows for increased production and creates a branded destination.
