Bintaro Xchange Phase I, is a shopping center with leisure, retail, and dining curving around a central park. Residential towers adjacent to the shopping center contain exceptional views and are connected by pathways to all the mall’s components. The design concept for Bintaro Xchange springs from water flowing through an environment of ice and canyon rock. With a nod to ripples and waves, the design is clean and contemporary. The master plan’s major organizing element is a central plaza intended to provide a place-making experience with major water features and extensive landscaping as well as providing an amenity for the surrounding community. Bintaro also contains the largest “green wall” and ice rink in Indonesia.
