As part of the city-wide effort the façade improvement study encourages private investment to spur commercial revitalization. A façade improvement grant provides funds to businesses for exterior improvement of individual buildings. With creative and efficient use of new materials, finishes, signage and awnings the new environment promotes a stronger retail corridor and an enhanced community distinction.
