“The Hon” was created in response to a single-stair design competition entered by inPLACE Design. This innovative project redefines urban residential living in Baltimore by combining smart design, sustainability, and community focus.
Built around a single-stair concept, “The Hon” integrates rooftop gardens, solar cladding, mass timber, and wind turbines—highlighting a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. It transforms vacant infill lots into light-filled, livable spaces that foster connection and neighborhood identity.
