inPLACE Design attended the annual, prestigious ICSC Mid-Atlantic Conference and Deal Making, on March 17-18, 2016 at National Harbor, right outside of Washington, D.C. Held annually, these deal making events are a great opportunity for owners, developers, retailers, brokers, lenders, municipalities, property asset managers and product and service providers to gather under one roof to exhibit, make deals, and form successful business partnerships.

inPLACE Design participated in a number of discussions on the current trends in retail, implementing retail into transit-oriented development, and the role of placemaking to increase value and revenue at shopping centers. A key take away from the conference was that shopping centers need to have a soul and individual personality to be truly successful.
